Day 01: Delhi
Arrive Delhi the capital of modern India meet and assist by our friendly representative at Indira Gandhi international airportand transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi - Shimla (350 Km)
Morning take superfast Shitabdhi Express train air con Chair car to Chandigarh dep at 7 40 am. On arrival in Chandigarh 10 40 ,meet by our Escort cum guide to drive to Shimla approx 3 and half hours drive, Arrive Shimla (7,234ft/2,205m ASL) check into hotel enjoy lunch. Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, is also known as the Queen of Hill Stations is situated in the Lower Himalayas. Shimla was an important hill station in India during the British Rule and still echoes of British past. The Mall still runs along the crest of the ridge and is lined with stately English-looking houses. Then visit the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies which is housed in the Viceregal Lodge. It was built in 1884 during the Brtitish Colonial period. We will enjoy exploring Mall area and narrow streets which fall steeply away from the ridge to colourful bazaars visit Church situated on the ridge.enjoy the market view in the evening lights.visit Local bazaar to see Chinese shoe-makers and Indian Chinese restaurants owned by Indian-Chinese.Dinner overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Shimla - Manali (265 km)
After breakfast in the morning, enjoy the beautiful serene and calmness of this hill resort later we will drive 265 kms for 6 – 7 hours to Manali (6,400 ft/1,950m ASL). You will drive through the Kullu Valley, a wonderful drive with breath-taking landscape. One sees well-defined snow-capped peaks. On the other side we will see Deodar Trees, Pine Trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards.The drive along the Beas river is breath taking wonderful scenes all around .We will pass by the Basheshar Mahadev temple at Bajaura, situated on the banks of the River Beas, roughly about 200 meter above the road. It is believed to have been built in the 8th century. Then continue on our drive to Manali.Arrive Manali famous hill resort of Himachal, Check in at hotel.
Day 04: Manali
Today after breakfast, there will be a full day trip to explore Manali, an important hill station in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh and located in the Beas River Valley beautiful hill stations in North India. visit Rohtang Pass (3980 m). This is around 50 Kms from main town of Manali and is famous because this is covered with snow through the year. Between June to October you can arrive top of he Rothang pass and view the high peaks,mountains and glaciers of Chandra Bhaga range. This is the place where you can see the River Beas originating. Enjoy the cool wind and the panoramic views of the Himalayas.return to Manali visit Roreich Art Gallery displays the artwork of both professor Nicolas Roerich,the famous Russian painter and Philosopher and his son and his quaint little house has been converted into a small museum. Naggar was the Old capital of Kullu State for about 1400 years before it was shifted to Kullu town in 1660. the excursion trip around Manali town and visit to the 500-year old wooden Hadimba Devi temple, constructed in the middle of the pine forest. Hidimba is the family Goddess of the Royal family of Kullu who came from a demon family whose rule was ended in the area by Bhima, one among the Five Pandvas during their exile in the Himalayas. We will then continue our trip around Manali town (6,400 ft/1,950m ASL). It is a picturesque little town and the most popular place in Himachal. It is a typical small town bustling with activities during summer. next village which is Vashisht where we can see and enjoy the Hot Sulphur springs. and the Tibetan Monastery.later visit Manali town and look for souvenirs. Dinner and night stay at Hotel.
Day 05: Manali - Daharamshala (260 kms 6 -7 hrs)
Start very early morning for Dharamsala scenic drive 6 hours takes you to head quarters of Dalai Lama.enroute stop at the Town of Shiva-baijnath and visit 13th century Shiva Temple also vist on the way Chamuda Devi temple dedicated to Goddess Kali (Goddesss of War) on the banks of river Baner.continue drive and On arrival in Dharamsala check in Hotel Asia Health Resort or similar.afternoon free to explore this town.Dinner and overnight stay at hotel
Day 06: Dharamsala
After breakfast spend the day exploring Dharamsala and Mcleod Gang.Mcleod Gang is also known as Little Tibet,full of Tibetan people,Tibetian monasteries,colourful Tibetan handicraft shops and restaurants run by young Tibetans.Afternoon drive to visit Dalai Lama’s Norbulinga Institute known for its various schools of Tibetan paintings and handicraft training centres.Evening free to walk around Dharamsala.Dinner and overnight stay hotel.
Day 07: Dharamsala - Amritsar - Delhi (200 kms 5 hrs)
Morning afterbreakfast drive 200 kms 5 hours to Holy city of Sikhs.Amritsar (Pool of Nectar). Arrival, on arrival after lunch visit the Golden Temple the most sacred pilgrimage centre for the Sikhs,the Golden temple was rebuilt in 1803 by the Sikh ruler- Maharaja Ranjit Singh in Marble and gold.The domes of the temple took 400kgs of Gold Leaf to be covered.witness the Retreat ceremony at Wagha Border for closing of Borders India and Pakistan, Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 08: Amritsar - Delhi - Onward Journey
Morning transfer to railway station to board Super fast Express train to Delhi.On arrival in Delhi meet and assist at railway station and transfer for freshen up and enjoy north indian tandori lunch and later transfer to city for shopping in local bazaar. Later transfer to International airport for flight to Onward journey.
